This is not the babys first fallout, better know your character builds ‘cause the fights are brutal. At least in some cases it was because I missed the easier way to do stuff, but not always. The only thing bothering me, was the difficulty that was… there was a lot of difficulty in places. Thematically it’s closer to 1 than 2, gameplaywise it’s 2. It’s a stand alone game built on top of fallout 2. Resurrection is something completely different. I can see why it was cut from the original rather than some other area.
Like… I super appreciate fallout 2 restoration patch and the work that went into bringing EPA area into the game… but that was one area, large but mostly nothing spectacular.
